I am a complete beginner, which class is best for me?
All our classes are mixed level and beginners are welcome. However, depending on your background you will be presented with your own challenges. For this we have created a list of the classes which are available to complete beginners who have no other background on movement and exercise.
Our teachers will be there to assist you in your learning process. Your progress will depend on how much time you spend practising at home and attending lessons.
It is important that you take your time in learning. Be patient and persistent. There are many theories on how much you should practice, and that also depends on the type of practice you are doing e.g. endurance, strength, flexibility.
Life style, diet and other factors should also be considered when you take up your yoga practice. A balanced diet, good sleep and time for recovery will be a great addition to your practice.
Daily practice over a continuous period of time is generally advised. If you begin with 3-10min of daily practise you will build up a good habit, like brushing your teeth; you will create a practice that will sustain you during your daily life, boost your energy levels, build confidence and live a healthy life style. You will learn about yourself, your body and your mind. It is a life quest that requires time and patience, but it's worth undertaking.
